I'm going to make a concerted effort to post at least once a week during this semester and as frequently as possible during the summertime. Hopefully that will keep me on task as I prepare for this internship.
I've been very excited to get emails, Facebook messages, and friend requests from the counselors for Camp War Eagle. It's great to see that they're so welcoming and ready to get to know me. I cannot wait to get to Auburn to meet them all!
I'm still considering a Friday-Monday trip to get better acclimated to the area and the campus. I think the best dates as of now are either April 17-20 or April 24-27. However, the second weekend's only about a week before I'm set to begin and right around the students' final exams so that may be a bit difficult. I'll let you all know more as I figure things out!
Lastly, I now own two Auburn t-shirts and a polo! Holler!
Since I'd better get used to saying it:
War Eagle!

I never would have imagined you as a "War Eagle" type person. I always thought of you when I heard the saying "Forever LSU". However, I'm glad to see you expanding your horizons and wish you well my friend! I have a few friends up there at Auburn that I'm sure you'll eventually run across. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI'll always be an LSU Tiger...
ReplyDeleteI'm working there this summer and open to anything!
War What?!?! I kid, I'm so excited that they're giving you free gifts, I know how lame and selfish but I mean that's so freaking nice. You should wear your shirt one day. I would support it. I mean I wear burnt orange at least once a week and could care less lol:)
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I will be extremely disappointed if you don't wear your LSU stuff some at Auburn, piss some people off.
