Virtual Tour

I realized that many of you have never been to or seen Auburn's campus, so I decided that I would give you all a virtual tour of the campus from my perspective.

In one of my first posts after I arrived at Auburn, I referenced recent graduates posing in front of this sign. It is an iconic spot on campus to commemorate important moments.

This is the doorway to the 189 Foy! It houses the Freshman Year Experience and Students in Transition Office! It's also pretty chilly inside. Since the new Student Center was completed, the rest of the building is basically empty so we have a nice quiet workplace most of the time!

Auburn's Student Center opened last August. One thing that is pretty unique is that there are meeting rooms on the upper floors with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the inside of the building so you can see inside of them.

Here's Teague Hall-my home for the summer!

This is the doorway of Toomer's Drugstore, home of the famous Toomer's Lemonade!

Across the intersection are the trees of Toomer's Corner that are rolled with toilet paper after an Auburn victory. Auburn is the only city in the country with Toilet Paper Removal as part of their budget.

This is the back of Cater Hall that overlooks the Upper Quad. From the steps of the balcony, student organizations announce their newest members during Call Outs. This is one thing that I'm really hoping to be able to come back to Auburn and see next year. (Happy Mark??)

Cater Hall from the front lawn.

Here is the Haley Center. For those of you who are confused by Lockett Hall's numbering system, you'd be completely lost here. Each room number represents the floor, quadrant (corner of the building) and actual room. It's somewhat confusing but I'm learning!

Jordan-Hare Stadium is right next to the AU Student Center. I love that it's in the heart of campus and that it can be seen by everyone on campus almost daily.

I'll try to get some more pictures and provide another glimpse of campus soon!
