I'm spending the afternoon relaxing in the lobby of one of the res halls watching WALL-E and it's all part of a hard day's work!!
Auburn has a program called Tiger Cubs for 6-12 year old siblings of incoming students attending Camp War Eagle. Off and on throughout the day, I've had the opportunity to stop in and assist with arts and crafts and other exciting things. While I presented in my usual times, the Cubs got to meet Aubie and tour campus incuding Jordan-Hare Stadium. They were very excited about being able to actually touch the grass on the field, too (even if it isn't Astroturf). During one of the later camp sessions, I'll have a chance to spend much more time with this program so I'm sure to have more stories then.
It kind of reminds me of my time as a summer camp counselor. I really miss those summers, especially in Bay St. Louis; I met a lot of new people and have remained very close friends with some! I'm hoping to have a chance to stop by the Bay when I return to Baton Rouge in mid-July.

I hope that you can really hone your crafting skills this summer and you will be an expert by the time it comes to the siblings activities at Family Weekend!!!
