Sorry for the MySpace style pic but I'm alone in my office working on a paper and had to make it work!

I've come to realize that I'll be in Auburn in less that two months (and it's getting very close to being a month away). In that time, I've still got to find a place to live for the fall, keep up with my school work, work Spring Invitational, combine training materials for my replacement, potentially pack up my apartment, prepare for 2 weddings in July, and find some time to breathe. I'm ready for the challenge but aware of how much there is to do.
Something else that's looming on the horizon is my impending job search. As hard as it may be for some to believe, I will finally be graduating and leaving LSU in December. I've seen a number of job postings that I would absolutely love, but, alas, it's far too early to apply for anything as most universities are hoping to hire someone that can start in June. Luckily, since orientation is heaviest during the summer, most schools post listings in the fall to be filled by the new year. I'm very hopeful that my experience at LSU and now with Auburn's program will give me a boost and make the process short and sweet!
I think I've probably procrastinated enough and can go finish my paper on the perils of using international comparisons on American higher education. And yes, it's as exciting as it sounds.
I can't believe you...wearing an Auburn shirt! Haha just kidding. It's easiest to make the transition from Tiger to Tiger, I guess.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the job search! It's slim pickin's out there!
